Kyu Gradings - June 2017

Standards were again high and students have been training well in the dojos. It was a good turnout in both grading areas.

However, it was apparent that some students have not been training enough or have enough knowledge or previous gradings to be given the belt. In some cases, the belt was handed to the dojo instructor with instructions to get the student up to speed before being allowed to wear the belt.

On a more positive side, there were more double graders this time with some well deserved promotions above and beyond the grade they were aiming for. Well done to you all!

The quarterly trophy winners were:

Abigail Rocque of Thornton College

Annabel Robinson of St. Thomas Aquinas

Ben Preece of Brickhill

Dan Young of Kempston

Dylan Tyrtania of Ampthill

Ellis Paul-Thomas of Stewkley

Jessica Lee of Newport Pagnell

Kieran Gilnagh of Bishop Parker

Leo Imarhiagbe of Bletchley

Max Standley of Newton Longville

Molly Lugsden of Clapham/Oakley

Keep up the hard work in your training and next time it could be you!
