Dan Gradings - March 28th 2026

All the CFTS clubs had condidates representing them in the recent dan gradings held in Kempston, Bedford, on Saturday 28th March 2026.

The standard was incredibly high and all the Instructors Committee panel felt that all the candidates demonstrated great skill and determination.

All nine shodan and nidan candidates were successful in the morning session, photo shown below.

Brian Yarr - Nidan - Kempston/Brickhill

Elizabeth Egginton - Nidan - Bletchley

Olivia Marshall - Nidan - Newton Longville

In the afternoon session, Katy Egginton went through her Sandan grading and even with the pressures of grading alone, did extremely well and was also successful.
