This was the last kyu grading of 2024 with a great turnout across all CFTS clubs.
Bedford Area Report
Saturday 9th November saw our final kyu grading of the year in Bedford, with all grades being attempted from blue belt to brown and red.
We had 4 separate grading groups;
Beginners
Blue, red and orange belts
Yellow, green and purple belts
Purple and white and all levels of brown belt
Across the 4 gradings the standard was very high and there were some standout performances. It was very pleasing to have a large group of beginners grade.
I hope all students were happy with their result and took on board the feedback from the Dan grades. To those who didn’t grade - March will be here before you know it!
A big thank you to all the black belts who assisted in warm ups, kata run throughs, kumite and marking - it is greatly appreciated.

Milton Keynes Area
A similar story to Bedford but our gradings were held on the Sunday with a great turnout of Dan grades who assisted admirably with the administration, warm ups, practice sessions and judging. Thank you to you all for your time and effort.
We had a new batch of beginners from the school clubs and the standards were again high. Gradings for all levels were achieved with great success; the final group of twelve purple&white belts and above showed great spirit and determination.
Well done to you all and keep up your practice both in and out of the dojo as March will come around all too soon.
