Dan Gradings - October 2006

Another challenging and gruelling Dan Grading took place at Kempston on Saturday and, following a courageous display by the candidates, the association now has two more Shodans to add to the ranks.

Frances Livesey from Clapham Club and Judy Morgan-Jones from Risely Cub were tested to their limits in front of an Examination Panel of Senior Instructors during which true karate spirit had to be drawn from within to get them through the ordeal.

Congratulations must go to both ladies who are most deserving of the their new rank of Shodan.

Many thanks must also go to the four Dan Grades who kindly assisted in the Kumite section.
