Dan Grading - Sunday 26th March 2023

On Sunday 26th March, we had the first dan grading of the year. Brian, the sole candidate from

Brickhill, was closely watched by Shihan McClagish, Sensei Young and Sensei Saunders as

well as other dan grades brought in for the day.

Having trained previously in the KUGB and obtaining the grade of shodan, Brian was confirming

his grade with CFTS. He demonstrated an excellent understanding of our syllabus and

performed his kihon, kumite and kata to a very high standard.

After an hour and a half, Brian was given the news that he had successfully passed and

confirmed his status as a CFTS dan grade.

A massive congratulations to him and thank you to the panel for giving up their time for the grading.
