Two nervous and anxious 1st Kyu candidates arrived at Daubeney Academy on Saturday to attempt their Shodan grading in front of the panel, the Instructors Committee.
This day was to be the supreme test of their abilities and to see if all the hard training and determination would pay off.
George Saridakis and Kaelen Brown, both from Bletchley Club were put through a gruelling two and a half hour test of kihon, kata, kumite and knowledge before awaiting the panel's decision.
Both were successful and overjoyed to be presented with their new black belts and licenses.
