The event is designed to raise awareness about cancer and there were entrants of all ages. Each entrant had a card saying who they were running for, in pictures and words, including family members and friends.

Heart radio provided the aerobic warm-up and the atmosphere was amazing as over 3000 ladies and girls started to run, jog or walk the 5km or 10km course around Campbell Park. Sunday was overcast and cooler than the Saturday which helped a lot.

Pam Waterhouse, Zoe McMahon, Louise Thomas and Alexandra Thomas all completed the 5 km run and the Newton Longville club and CFTS are very proud of their achievements.
