You can use the following files to help learn the Japanese Karate terminology. This is a necessity for karate-ka going for Sodan - black belt.

Karate Techniques

There are two formats:

1st - Sensei Kidby reads a list of terminology, first in Japanese & then in English.

2nd - second version is the same as the first but it is ideal for testing yourself. There is approximately a 3-5 second pause between each term - so you can test yourself verbally (ideal for use in your car or ipod!) or physically at home.
